Myrna takes to bed with a “sick headache” and her alarm clock She waits. It’s only a matter of time. But, then again, the reason she has a headache is because she just learned that time isn’t real. Myrna beats her alarm clock to death, fully realizing the irony that she just killed time.
I know you’ve all been waiting.
No, not for spring to finally arrive.
Or world peace.
Or those final 5, 10, or 15 pounds to just melt off.
You’ve been waiting for me to tackle the tongue twisters you threw at me when I dazzled you with the ones I threw at you.
Well, the wait is over.
Hope you’re satisfied.
Now I’m going to have to rest for a long time.
How long?
I have no idea.

Apr 09, 2015 @ 11:42:39
Yeah. I think so. Felt like more. Actually, I filmed the second one several times, so it was more! π
Apr 09, 2015 @ 02:31:45
Are you sure it was only twice? π π π
Apr 06, 2015 @ 20:36:49
Never again! Wasn’t twice enough? π
Apr 06, 2015 @ 11:52:20
Naughty girl! Swearing on video like that! π
I do hope you come back some time with a few new onesβ¦ it’s fun and I really enjoyed it.
Apr 04, 2015 @ 19:01:04
Brave is one word for it. I can think of others! Happy easter to you and your family as well, Izzy! Love, love, love!
Apr 04, 2015 @ 18:58:41
Thanks! I need all the help I can get!
Apr 04, 2015 @ 14:46:45
You get an A for effort!!! π
Apr 04, 2015 @ 06:32:36
FUNNY … FUNNY … FUNNY …!!!!
Thank you for using my tongue twister. You are a brave soul to attempt them.
I always remember people trying to do tongue twisters if they had been drinking. Of course, they couldn’t.
You did a great job !!!!
Looking forward to the next video-gram. π
Happy Easter to you and Phil !!!! π
Apr 03, 2015 @ 18:36:55
You’re too bad. π
Apr 03, 2015 @ 16:38:37
Lorna, you made me shriek with laughter! You’re such a good sport, but I don’t think you said my’ naughty’ ones quite fast enough. π
Apr 03, 2015 @ 16:18:06
Totally
Apr 03, 2015 @ 16:13:16
That’s all I’ve been doing!
Apr 03, 2015 @ 16:12:32
I did my best, and now I’m done! Whew!
Apr 03, 2015 @ 16:09:41
Thanks, Janice. If I could read aloud better, maybe I would have a future in recording audio books!
Mar 30, 2015 @ 21:34:10
so funny! I still maintain you have an awesome reading or radio voice, very soothing π
Mar 29, 2015 @ 22:08:16
Swearing! Sea shells by the sea shore, red lorry yellow lorryβ¦I don’t know how you did it! Excellent Lorna, excellent!
Mar 27, 2015 @ 11:05:57
Good golly, no wonder you’re worn out. Take a rest, Missy!
Mar 26, 2015 @ 21:30:29
Mar 26, 2015 @ 20:35:45
Bummer
Mar 26, 2015 @ 17:59:52
Already recovered! Just knowing I won’t try anymore of these makes me feel better. But what should I do next? π
Mar 26, 2015 @ 17:19:04
They were…except I lost them. π¦
Mar 26, 2015 @ 17:03:30
I wouldn’t dare to try most of them. I’m not sure I’d even try any Spanish ones after this! I hope you recover soon.
Mar 26, 2015 @ 16:57:55
Aw, thanks, Narelle. This was a fun thing to do–just something different!
Mar 26, 2015 @ 16:57:04
It was out of my technical comfort zone until I experimented and learned how to do it! It’s really not that hard and quite fun…If I can learn to do it, you can! π
Mar 26, 2015 @ 16:02:01
I loved your tongue twisters and it was a genuine treat to actually get to see the “real” Laura on your video, mucking around and the rest of it. Tempts me to try it also in a way, but that’s well out of my technical comfort zone
Mar 26, 2015 @ 07:32:16
You’re great on video. Lots of fun π
Mar 24, 2015 @ 19:46:24
Cheers to your effort and determination. Then again, the outtakes may be a good video.
Mar 24, 2015 @ 19:43:54
You should have seen the first few tries at making this video. I really flubbed up on Peter Piper. The only reason I didn’t show it was I had to make other “takes” because the darn movie-maker program was giving trouble. I had to re-do this video about five times! I really was too pooped to pop by the end of this thing! π
Mar 24, 2015 @ 19:41:34
Don’t you love it when actors or comedians crack up in the middle of a scene/skit? It makes the whole thing funnier, doesn’t it? π
Mar 24, 2015 @ 19:38:44
That is so kind of you to say, Robin, but I think I proved that I’m not very talented at all with some of them. At least I’m talented at laughing at myself! π
Mar 24, 2015 @ 19:07:29
This was a fun post and you are so talented with these tongue twisters, Lorna!
Mar 24, 2015 @ 16:53:41
Fantastic! What a fun time. Your laughter really made the entire video!
Mar 24, 2015 @ 16:46:37
Great job being a good sport. On the first video, I was on the same wavelength as your sister, but you came through. Thanks for including mine that we discovered by accident.
Mar 24, 2015 @ 15:09:30
Me, too. I keep it (and her) close all the time. π
Mar 24, 2015 @ 15:08:54
Good advice. I’m going now!
Mar 24, 2015 @ 15:08:22
Definitely come back. You’ll hear me say a bad word by mistake.
Mar 24, 2015 @ 15:02:14
You’re right. Heaven will just have to reserve a special place for us…maybe the same place as the dogs go. Yes. I like that idea!
Mar 24, 2015 @ 12:20:54
I don’t think Hell is ready for either of us….we’d make it too much fun.
Mar 24, 2015 @ 11:50:26
Well I picked the wrong time to hop on over to your blog – I’m on a computer with no sound working! I shall have to come back later…
Mar 24, 2015 @ 11:23:45
For me, yes. But I think you’d need to lie down in a dark room after all that!
Mar 24, 2015 @ 11:13:27
Well, I’m laughing at me–all good fun, right? π
Mar 24, 2015 @ 11:12:49
No, Rob. It’s just something I thought of on one of my many long walks without Scrappy. I thought it would be fun…
Mar 24, 2015 @ 11:11:44
Glad you enjoyed them, Gerry. Tongue twisters are always fun–especially when you mess them up! π
Mar 24, 2015 @ 11:09:51
I knew you’d be proud, Al! I had to shoot this video several times because the movie maker was giving me trouble. This was the 5th “take.” And the only one where your little tongue twister “got” me. But I wasn’t about to shoot a 6th video. Plus I knew it would tickle you to hear me say a bad word at your bidding. That one’s for you, my friend, so I’ll be seeing you in Hell! π
Mar 24, 2015 @ 11:09:41
Aww, that’s so sweet. Glad it was in the vid. π
Mar 24, 2015 @ 11:07:09
I’m so glad! Nothing like making a fool of yourself in front of your best blogger buddies! π
Mar 24, 2015 @ 11:06:26
You’re welcome. I knew you’d get a kick out of it!
Mar 24, 2015 @ 11:05:54
Because I was having trouble with the movie maker, I had to shoot the movie several times. This was my 5th attempt. I was so tired of these crazy tongue twisters by the time this video was shot! Oh well, it was fun and Al caught me. I wasn’t about to take a 6th try! π
Mar 24, 2015 @ 11:03:52
My mom gave that blanket to me because it looked like a bookshelf. She is so proud of her “author daughter!” β€
Mar 24, 2015 @ 11:02:36
Wonderful! Can’t wait to know what you think of it. Nothing zany about that story…
Mar 24, 2015 @ 10:36:56
Good thing you have your writing to fall back on π BTW-I finally got my copy of Never Turn Back! I’ll be diving in over spring break.
Mar 24, 2015 @ 10:33:01
Haha, better than the first, more laughs from you. And, hey I like your blankey on the chair. Looks like a book case. π
Mar 24, 2015 @ 10:07:53
Haha. You lost a couple of those challenges. Sh*t! Yes, it was fun and good to see you.
Mar 24, 2015 @ 09:29:58
Thank you, that is how you do it. Sooooo funny. Can’t wait to show mom. π
Mar 24, 2015 @ 09:16:58
Ha! Ha! You made my morning!
Mar 24, 2015 @ 07:32:26
GOTCHA!! Hilarious. You’ll be going to Hell now, Lorna, but up here you rock!
Mar 24, 2015 @ 07:00:07

Mar 24, 2015 @ 06:15:32
Why are you exercising your tongue to such an extent… heading for public office or the like???
Mar 24, 2015 @ 02:58:09
Laughing with you, Lorna, not at you!!! I still can’t say ‘dismisseth.’ Well done!
