Welcome back to this weekly (as opposed to weakly) attempt to “Occupy the Blog-o-Sphere” each Thursday. I offer this hopefully uplifting message to brighten your day and bring something buoyant into your life. As you move through your day with a renewed, more light-hearted outlook, may you pass the good vibes along.
I wanted to end this year’s series in lighting up the Blog-o-sphere in a predictable Lorna way.
We’re in the midst of celebrating whatever it is we are celebrating and that usually involves goodies that taste great but make our clothes shrink. It’s one of those physics principles I never quite understood.
Well, People, consider yourself lucky that I am here to remind you of the calorie-burning and muscle-toning benefits of laughter.
If you find yourself growing faster than the national debt, start laughing and don’t stop until your sides ache, your face hurts, and you’ve rolled all the dust-bunnies or cookie crumbs off of the floor. Besides dancing, laughter is my favorite form of exercise. Well, there might be another type of exercise that I also enjoy…but I digress.
To help kick-start your Chuckle-Until-You-Can-Buckle Program, take a few moments to watch this video of Ellen Degeneres and her producer.
Have a Happy, Healthy, Hilarious New Year!

Oh Dear, U, sorry to hear that both you and your computer are ailing. Nothing is permanent. Well, maybe the sound problem in your PC is until you get it fixed or upgrade your computer, but even that isn’t permanent. Take comfort in the flux and fluff of life, my friend…

My Phil makes me laugh, too. Spontaneous bursts of laughter–I love it and I love him. That’s what keeps me in shape! 😉

That was a bit naughty, but very funny, wasn’t it? 😉 🙂

Really … laughter is by far the greatest medicine for enjoying life. My hubby is great at keeping our everyday full of humor. In many way, I try to adopt those fun relaxed ways. I admire people like him and you who can find humor in almost anything. I know now how you keep that bikini shape. Laughing cancels eating …. !!!!
Hope your Chrismas was gilled with sparkle and light.
May the coming year surround you with shining stars of success, peace and love.
Namaste …
Izzy xoxo

Laughter is the best thing ever! Thank you!

This time you have excelled yourself, Lorna, with brightening up my sphere further by drawing my attention to the fact that I can’t so much as sneeze without emitting a wincing noise, never mind LAUGHING (or sitting down). Not that one does need any of those to drag yourself through another dose of codeine sending you straight to sleep. Yes, so thanks for that. Am disappointed in my spine having no back bone, and will in future never try to lift a cast iron radiator half my weight. Neither does my PC’s sound work. Hasn’t done for ages. Just at the time when bloggers seem to see fit (not least our Phil when he isn’t hibernating) to enhance their offerings with anything from you tube to Ted.
Other than that I am in a terrible mood.
Hugs and kisses,
U
