Following in some pretty deep and soulful footsteps, I’ve decided to take up Amy’s (at Soul Dipper) adventure to “Occupy the Blog-o-Sphere.” Click on this link to read what she has in mind. Or heart. Basically she wants to start a movement to uplift us all. I think that’s worth doing. Every Thursday.
Here’s my contribution this Thursday:
Don’t waste your life in doubts and fears: spend yourself on the work before you, well assured that the right performance of this hour’s duties will be the best preparation for the hours or ages that follow it.
Ralph Waldo Emerson

You’re so welcome! If only we could all live that way…
Jan 28, 2012 @ 14:04:00
Thanks. I try as best I can to live like Emerson suggests–without worry or doubt. I’m not perfect at it, but I try not to worry about it. 😉
Jan 28, 2012 @ 13:58:10
You got that right!
Jan 28, 2012 @ 13:55:55
Wonderful! The blog-o-sphere is brightening up already. 🙂

That lovely quote is so inspiring, if I’m not careful, I might find myself actually DOING something uplifting. But probably not.

What a great idea…I do want to participate in Amy’s great idea each week. I’ve already linked my “Tao” posting for this week. 🙂

There always room for more positive energy …

It is a great idea! I’m not great at following rules (unless you pay me decently by the hour to tell me what to do, lol) but this is one Thursday idea I just might latch onto. Wait. Weren’t we doing it already some days? Just not on Thursdays, lol. Oh look, a rule follower by D fault, D fault of so many hilarious minds on here, you, Tots, Lafemme, and so many more. Rock on, looking forward to reading what Thursday brings out in all of us. Nice move, Amy and love the Emerson quote, Lorna 🙂 🙂 🙂

Love that quote, Lorna!! I pray I can live it. :). Thanks for sharing.

It’s easy to follow the lead of someone as special as you. I have at least a couple of bloggers who are interested in following your lead, too. It has begun!
Jan 27, 2012 @ 11:10:56
So glad you liked the idea and the quote. And thanks for reading and commenting. Hope to see more of you here! 🙂
Jan 27, 2012 @ 11:09:53
Thanks so much for your support. I’m already a winner of that award and don’t feel like I should “double dip” as it were. I do very much appreciate your thinking of me, though! 🙂
Jan 27, 2012 @ 11:08:27
Yeah!
Jan 27, 2012 @ 04:57:39
Great idea – I’m in 😆

Thank you for sharing so much of yourself and supporting my blog. I nominated you for an award. You’ll find the rules at http://narcissistsblog.wordpress.com/2012/01/26/aww-shucks/
Congratulations and I hope you’ll spread the love.
Jan 26, 2012 @ 22:51:35
This is a great idea and pulling out an Emerson quote to start makes me very happy.
Jan 26, 2012 @ 17:16:53
Thank you, Lorna – on two levels: #1. For participating and #2. For linking. I hope your example helps others see how they can do this! Thanks for sharing your heart today, Caring One.
Jan 26, 2012 @ 16:44:38
I hope the positive vibes will spread. Lord knows we all could use a cyber hug!
Jan 26, 2012 @ 16:26:29
Thanks for that, Lorna. Those pick-me-ups are what all of us could use from time to time. Hopefully, I can remember to join next week and spread good cheer.

Great contribution! Reminds me to just keep working on the plan God has laid before me. Sometimes I wanna step out and waste my time in the drama people create around me, but no, my job is to stick with my hubby, raise these children, and not worry what anyone else has to say about it. I’ll keep all the silver linings and leave the clouds where they hang… 🙂
