My Dear Subscribers,
You received an email alert that I just posted something with a mysterious title. It was a number. Was it the number of typos I’ve made in the last 10 posts? A year far in the future? How much is left in my savings account?
No. It was a spam posting that I didn’t even write. You can tell because it didn’t have even one hilarious and catchy copy write protected picture in it.
I’m sorry, even though I didn’t create this spawn of the SPAM-i-Verse. In the future, I’ll try not to let these kinds of things happen, even though I don’t know how to prevent them. That’s just the kind of person I am.

Good!

I deleted it immediately … it looked strange.
Thanks …

Imagine the chaos: spam on spam action… ick!
Dec 18, 2011 @ 14:01:18
I knew right from the start, Lorna, this wasn’t from you! Honestly, I wish those people would get a life–or just spam each other.
Dec 17, 2011 @ 14:28:44
I’m not sure how to report it to WordPress, but I’ll look into it. Thanks!
Dec 17, 2011 @ 14:27:57
I trashed it once I saw that it posted itself. The audacity of that spam–pretending to be me. I’m a vegetarian!
Dec 17, 2011 @ 14:27:01
Harry, isn’t all Spam just searching for the right platter? š
Dec 17, 2011 @ 14:24:34
Thanks for your kind words, John. There is no such thing as “free” anything in this world, is there? š
Dec 17, 2011 @ 14:23:32
Insidious spam. I write one funny post about disappearing spam and look what happens–it hunts me down and attacks me! š
Dec 17, 2011 @ 14:22:17
U, just to be clear, I usually don’t wear the wings when I’m outside. I don’t like to draw attention to myself. š
Dec 17, 2011 @ 14:20:34
Good to know. Misery and Spam just LOVE company!
Dec 17, 2011 @ 14:20:08
It had to happen sooner or later. But I’m not gonna let a little Spam ruin my fun!
Dec 17, 2011 @ 14:14:58
Yes, I think you’re on to something. I just had to remark about “disappearing” spam and, voila! A spam attack! š
Dec 17, 2011 @ 09:39:58
I apparently had the same problem. I think, for me at lease, it was the spam-i-verse trying to get even for my lampooning spam messages in a blog post. š
Dec 17, 2011 @ 06:51:57
An erroneous post? Better be careful. Looks like Big Brother’s trying to set you up.
Dec 17, 2011 @ 06:07:00
WordPress is acting up all over the place this week.
Dec 16, 2011 @ 23:40:30
Dear Angel, yes, what a disappointment that was. Got all excited by prospect of a new post, went to your site and – ?. Wonder what the purpose of such spam is. As for the finger: I couldn’t have said it better myself.
Thanks for keeping us “posted” otherwise I’d still be scratching me head.
U

Yes, I saw the two words too–“Free counters”. I didn’t know what that meant–thanks for clarifying, Lorna.
Dec 16, 2011 @ 20:26:38
Yes, besides the strange number title, there are only two words in the mail: Free counters.
The truth is that it is not your post. Yes, beautiful angel never posts like that. š
Dec 16, 2011 @ 18:08:58
Looks like you have a problem here sir/madam. You sure you have the right place? Maybe you got a little lost? Maybe you’re looking for something you’re not supposed to find? Either way, just go search for it, it can’t hurt.

Thats good, i don’t have to report it to WP:)
Dec 16, 2011 @ 17:58:00
Glad I opened this first. I think you can report it to WordPress and they help manage those kind of things.
